Custom Order!!
I got two custom orders today. One was a customer who sent me a picture and wanted me to duplicate it. I finished it, and she was very happy with the result. The other is for a cute little elephant, which I will make tomorrow. I am always so glad to do custom orders. I find it challenging, and a bit nerve wracking too! But I have not had a complaint yet... so things are going well. Things went pretty good for a Monday! :)

A study in color continued
Well, as promised, here is the 4 bunnies all in different colors with some small changes. As you can see, it gives them each their own personalities! It also makes them look more like males or females. Color can be a great thing, so play with it, use different combinations, and have fun! Make them match, or contrast... the sky is the limit. I hope you like the bunnies, although I am sure that one particular color looks way better to you personally than another!

A study in color
I decided that I am going to do a study in color. I have my Etsy shop in which I have stated that I do custom orders, but have yet to receive one. I think people need to see how different colors can effect the same item, and give it a completely different feel. I am making three different colored Bunny Foo Foo bunnies to illustrate the changes made by simply changing the main or accent colors. The bunnies will all be a new color, with other slight changes. For instance, I will attach the bow in a different place, or move the arms slightly. The goal of this is to let people see the diversity of amigurumi crochet. You can take the same exact basic pattern, and create something completely unique to you.
This is something I find very fun to do, and somewhat challenging, so if your Etsy seller has that "request custom item" button.... use it! Challenge them a bit. Pick your colors, tell them you want the accessories a certain way... be creative! Match a bedroom, nursery, living room, or whatever!
I will be posting all 4 bunnies tomorrow, and you can see for yourself what a little color change can do for you :)
